How crypto wallet recovery works at Revault
Every case follows the same structured, transparent process, so you know what happens at each stage and nothing sensitive is handled before the paperwork is in place.
The five steps
- 01
Intake & assessment
You describe the wallet, what happened and what you still have. I assess whether recovery is technically realistic — free and non-binding.
- 02
Verification
Before accepting a case I verify your identity and ownership or authority — so I know the wallet is yours, or that you may act for it.
- 03
Agreement
Scope, fee, confidentiality and the non-custodial principle are fixed in a signed service agreement. An NDA is available on request.
- 04
Recovery
Password recovery, seed reconstruction or file repair runs on air-gapped systems, remotely or on-site as agreed.
- 05
Handover
You open the wallet and move the funds to a new wallet only you control. The agreed fee is settled during that handover.
How I keep your case safe
Security is not a feature, it's the constraint everything else is designed around.
Air-gapped systems
Recovery work runs on machines without a network connection. Material never touches cloud services.
NDA before details
On request I sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share anything about your case.
Verification first
So I know the wallet is yours, or that you may act for it: identity and ownership or authority are verified with risk-based KYC/AML checks before a case is accepted.
Your choice of location
Remote over a secured connection, at my office, at your premises or at a notary's — with your adviser present if you wish.
